Kochi Living Guide

Kochi Prefecture is located in the southern part of Shikoku. It faces the Pacific Ocean to the south and is bordered by Tokushima and Ehime prefectures to the north. Kochi is the largest prefecture in Shikoku.

Agriculture is thriving thanks to the mild climate. The fishing industry is particularly famous for bonito (Katsuo). For sightseeing, there are many important cultural properties such as Kochi Castle and Tosa Shrine, as well as famous scenic spots such as the Shimanto River.
